Danube Wings is adding Boeing 737 - 300 to its fleet
The aircraft will carry hockey players and fans during IIHF World Hockey Championship 2011.

As of April 1st Danube Wings fleet will be enriched by fourth aircraft, namely Boeing 737 - 300. It will serve to fullfill demand towards regular flights and charter flights to more distant destinations. It is likely to be used to transport hockey players and fans during this year World Hockey Championship in Bratislava and Kosice. The ircraft will also allow to realise regular flights that are not feasible with currently used ATR 72 - 202. New Boeing is being painted these days to corporate colours of Danube Wings.

The aircraft has a capacity of 149 seats and flight range of 4 400 kilometers with full load. It has been manufactured in 1996 and was used mainly for flights within Europe and closer holiday destinations.

"New aircraft is very appreciated in our fleet. Finally we will not have to rent aircrafts from competition to fulfill demands of our clients for flights over 1 000 kilometers" says Capt. Peter Galovic, CEO of Danube Wings.
"Priority will be to use this aircraft for holiday destinations to Greek Islands, Turkey and North African destinations.In the same time we have immediately started to analyse opportunities for new regular flights." adds Peter Galovic.

Boeing 737-300 has capacity of 149 seats, is a basic model from second generation of Boeings 737. The aircraft has a wingspan of 28,8 m, fuselage length 33,4 m, cruising speed of 907 km/h, maximum take off weight of 61 250 kg and engines CFM (model 56).
