Cathay Pacific Airways has announced it will cancel all flight services with effect from around 1400hrs today, 22 August. The last flight planned to depart Hong Kong is CX870 to San Francisco at 1410hrs. The cancellation of flights will be in effect through to 0200hrs Saturday morning, 23 August (HK Time). Passengers whose flights are cancelled are advised not to go the airport. Passengers are advised to first check the airline’s website, http://www.cathaypacific.com, to get the latest flight information before leaving for the airport. Should passengers require further information, they are advised to call the airline’s hotline: (852) 2747-8999 (English) or (852) 2747-8888 (Chinese). Dragonair will cancel all flights after 1400hrs today (Friday, 22 August). Flight operation is expected to resume from 0800hrs on Saturday, 23 August.
