Ciao a tutti,

I want to go to BLQ for spotting this week or nxt week. (im on holiday near Comacchio, FE) Which is the day with the best traffic? I think saturday could be an interesting day. Are there some specials the next 10 days? Maybe some widebodies ?
I know the spotting place on the westend of the RWY. What about the east side and the Terminal. Are there some good spotting positions too ?

Thanks for your help and maybe we meet us at the airport.

I suggest you to come to BLQ on weekend, when there are many charters (Small Planet IT, Air Italy, Blue Panorama, Neos, Spanair etc.)..Next monday (5th sept), there will be 4 Cruise charters operated by Pullmantur Air (B744) and Air Europa, you can follow the thread dedicated in Mondo Spotter to know the timetable..

About the spotting points, you can see the maps here ---> http://www.volabologna.it/it/marconi/spotting-point/ (points 2 and 3 are the best in the eastside), and in the terminal there is Ciao restaurant (3rd floor) which has a great view of the east apron (mostly used by Ryanair, Alitalia, Air France and many others regular airlines) and the runway...

I agree about 5th September... 3 747-400 Pullmantur that day! But also on Sunday there are a lot of interesting planes

For the afternoon the best spotting point is the N°4 (RWY12)

In addition to the advice given by Thommy, i add that saturday (in my opinion) is a good day for spotting, and if u come we'll meet at the westend (RW 12)!!

At first thanks for your help and for the informations.
It was a hard decision between saturday and monday.
We (my son and me) decided to come to BLQ tomorow
(saturday). I think we will be at the RWY12 between
8-9am.
Maybe we will see us there.
